News 01/30/2003 : Griffin Restaurant Group Presents Real Estate Seminar At WestEx 2003. Gordon Matthews, a Restaurant Real Estate Specialist with Griffin Restaurant Group, presented a workshop at the Rocky Mountain Regional Restaurant and Foodservice Exposition (WestEx) in Denver on January 29, 2003. WestEx is produced by the Colorado Restaurant Association and is the largest restaurant show in the Rocky Mountain Region. The seminar, which was aimed at independent restauranteurs and multi-unit operators, is an introduction to the commercial real estate arena and aims to de-mystify some of the issues that arise between landlords, tenants and brokers. Matthews attempts to simplify the often intimidating landscape and make it more accessible to the uninitiated.
