News 03/01/2003 : Blowfish Opens in Main Street Development in Royal Oak, Michigan. Griffin Restaurant Group's Michael Scheid has negotiated a transaction between Main Place of Royal Oak and Blowfish: Sushi, Steak, Drink. The prototype store (9,000 sq ft, $26.00 ticket average) of this high end lounge and restaurant is currently under construction. A second store in Newport Beach, CA has broken ground even before the first store is completed. The restaurant developer is anxious to open 10 stores in different markets across the States.
