03/16/2002 : Central Place Real Estate Selected to Represent CIRB within the State of Wisconsin

Central Place Real Estate, based in Madison, WI has been selected to represent the Council of International Restaurant Real Estate Brokers (CIRB) within the state of Wisconsin, including the Madison and Milwaukee markets. "We are honored to be elected to work within CIRB, as it strengthens our ties to the national restaurant and hospitality industry that we have been involved in for over 20 years, as well as compliments other national network partners that we are affiliated with", said Central Place President Rob Zache, CCIM, CHA. Zache and his firm have been involved in real estate, brokerage & development of over 100 hotels and restaurants throughout the state of Wisconsin and upper Midwest, including major deals in Chicago, Kansas City and St. Louis, with total project values approaching $1/2 billion.

Formerly Vice President of a development company that earned two National Developer of the Year Awards (from Promus and Hilton), Zache is also a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator), two top designations within the commercial real estate and hotel industries. Zache states "Central Place is the only specialized, independent commercial real estate office within Wisconsin that deals primarily with national restaurants and hotels, so the CIRB affiliation and network, allowing us to partner with the best practicing restaurant real estate professionals around the country, is a fantastic extension of our services, and right up our alley. Along with the CCIM network, the largest independent network of the most experienced commercial real estate practitioners in the nation, we are now set up to deliver the finest quality services to the restaurant & hotel industries in our territory, something that has not previously existed".

A sampling of recent clients include Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's Italian Grille, PF Chang's China Bistro, Bob Evans Farms, Steak & Shake, Hilton Hotel Corporation and Marriott Hotels Corp. Central Place was also just selected as the leasing broker for a new 400,000-sqft retail Lifestyle Center to be developed in Middleton (Madison), WI by Red Development of Phoenix, AR.

Central Place provides site selection, brokerage and development services to the national restaurant and hotel industries, as well as develops their own in house real estate portfolio.
