News 05/01/2002 : Glasgall & Associates (CIRB New York) has been Retained by MGM-Mirage Hotels and the Boyd Gaming Group to Select Restaurant Tenants for the New Borgata Resort and Casino  Glasgall of Glasgall & Associates, Ltd. In New York City has been retained by the Marina District Development Corp. (MDDC), a joint venture between MGM-Mirage and the Boyd Gaming Group, to assist them with the development and leasing of 11 restaurant facilities to be built at their new Borgata Resort and Casino property presently under construction in Atlantic City, NJ.
The Borgata, the first new hotel and casino to be built in Atlantic City in over 13 years, will be 43 stories high and will contain, in addition to the aforementioned restaurants, 2010 guest rooms and suites, a 135,000 square foot casino, a 45, 000 square foot Indoor pool and International Health Spa area, two entertainment venues seating up to 2400 and 1000 persons respectively, retail shops and on-site parking for over 7,000 cars. . The site measure 30 acres with the total building area under cover to contain over 4.000.000 square feet. The project is budgeted to cost in excess of $1 billion dollars and is scheduled to open to the public in June of 2003. Glasgall is a founding member of CIRB.
